Expedition tent for extreme conditions
The 3.0 three-person tent from Samaya is made for camping at high altitudes in the Alps, Andes and Himalayas. Thanks to the use of lightweight, durable materials and its weatherproof, wind-resistant design, it can be used for mountaineering and alpine tours even beyond the magic 8,000 m limit. The Samaya 3.0 expedition tent is part of Samaya’s 8K Range. These type of tents are made of top materials and are extremely stable. The tent has a geodesic structure that offers 220 x 240 cm of space. Three people will fit inside and can sit comfortably thanks to the height of 130 cm. The Samaya tent is made of durable Dyneema, has Cordura reinforcements and boasts the breathable Nanovent technology.
In addition to its hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm, it’s also storm-resistant and extremely breathable at 30,000 g/m²/24h. As for the tent floor, it has a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm. If required, you can purchase a separate vestibule and footprint. In addition, the durable tent is supported by DAC Featherlite aluminium poles that keeps it stable even in high wind speeds. The expedition tent weighs 2,860 g and can be compressed to a packing volume of 10.4 litres.
